My passion for health and well-being has inspired my work with individuals and groups for the past decade. I have facilitated transformational experiences through bodywork, meditation, embodied movement practices and wilderness adventure. A lifelong passion for health and well-being inspires my role as a somatic therapist.
Through my relational, bottom up and body-oriented approach to healing, I aim to increase one’s unique capacity for fulfillment and a sense of ease in the world. The opportunity to provide clients with comprehensive skills to empower and inform a fulfilling life is an honor. I weave Somatic Experiencing, touch, mindfulness and spiritual coaching into personal sessions depending on the needs of the moment
My dedication to teaching yoga and mindfulness roots in the deep personal harmony such practices support. Specializing in body oriented health and healing, I have worked in collaboration with some of Asheville’s premier clinical mental health treatment programs as a creator and director of mindfulness and adventure based therapy. My dedication to supporting and illuminating one’s personal capacity for health and well-being has fueled my entire career.
My private practice weaves extensive self-study and a deep personal mindfulness practice within my individual work with clients. After three years of study and instruction, I received my certification as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, qualifying me to work to alleviate trauma symptoms with a bottom up, nervous system focused, touch supported approach.
My love of water, writing, cooking, camping, dreaming and creativity fuels me. I source my joy from spending time alone, with my partner, family and friends. Travel continues to inspire and infuse my life with beauty.
